Experience the various world-class attractions and heritage sites in Richmond on the Tourism Challenge Familiarization (FAM) tour. For those participating in the 2019 Tourism Challenge, you will be able to collect 7 stamps!
This FAM is open to all Tourism Richmond stakeholders' front-line employees (including non-Tourism Challenge participants) and Tourism Challenge participants.
Itinerary
10:00am Pick up at River Rock Casino Resort (1 stamp) - please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to departure
10:15am - 11:15am Get Inspired by the Olympic Experience at the Richmond Oval (1 stamp)
11:25am - 11:40pm Visit the Richmond Art Gallery and Richmond Museum (1 stamp)
12:00pm Arrive at Steveston
12:00pm - 1:30pm Explore Steveston - visit the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site (1 stamp), Steveston Interurban Tram (1 stamp) and Steveston Museum (1 stamp). Enjoy lunch at your own leisure in Steveston
1:30pm Meet at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site to drive over to Britannia Shipyards National Historical Site
1:40pm - 2:30pm Tour Britannia Shipyards National Historical Site (1 stamp)
2:30pm Depart Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site
2:45pm Arrive back at River Rock - thank you for joining us!

Terms and Conditions
The maximum capacity per FAM is 20 persons. Due to space limitations, we are currently only accepting 4 people per organization for all dates. Subsequent registrants from the same organization will be put on a waiting list.
In order to participate, you must be either a front-line employee of a Tourism Richmond stakeholder, or a Tourism Challenge participant, or both. If you do not meet the requirements, we reserve the right to cancel your registration.
Each Tourism Challenge passholder can bring one guest with them, subject to availability at the time of booking.
A fee of $20 per person will apply for no-shows. If you need to cancel, please inform us in writing 24 hours prior to the start of the FAM.
Regretfully, we do not have any wheelchair accessible seating available on the buses.
